Hey, I'm Rachel, and ever since I can remember I've wanted to start my own brand. I wasn’t always certain about what exactly I wanted to create, but I knew I wanted to put good into the world.
Growing up I was always an extreme animal lover, and from a young age I became aware of the choices I was able to make: I am able to choose what I eat, what I buy, and what kind of lifestyle I want to live. As I got older I discovered my love for fashion, and unfortunately along with it I also discovered the unnecessary cruelty and waste that comes with it.
When you shop at Compassionista, you can be confident that there is no cruelty behind your purchase. I’ve built this collection out eco-friendly and cruelty-free materials, so you will never have to sacrifice style for ethics.

We at Zardozi Creations are a family of creative geeks. Our factory always carries a very artistic vibe. You can always see people working on a piece of art in a myriad of colors humming a tune with Bollywood music playing in the background.
We hire people with a passion toward their craft. All our people strive to create pieces of art. We have a culture of calling every worker a ‘Kalakar’ (Artist) that gives the artisans a sense of pride in their work and they create every piece with extreme love and care. This helps us ensure that every deliverable is of the best possible quality and finish.
We are a fair trade facility and we pay our artisans a fair pay above the industry standards. We also make it a point that we work with fair trade vendors for raw material sourcing.
We provide them with a very comfortable and safe workplace with facilities like air conditioning, clean drinking water, pantry, etc. We also support the education of the children of our artisans.
We hire people who are good at what they do and provide them with tools to grow. We also hire a few interns from the nearby village and train them in various crafts. This provides them with financial support and independence. It also boosts their confidence and living standards.

In the heart of New York City, he opened up his factory Sherry Accessories and after 4 decades in operation, Terry is now one of the industry leaders in creating and manufacturing accessories for elite and small designers all over the world. His products are found in retail stores, have been featured in hundreds of fashion magazines, and on the runways all over the world.
